The Fabric Alm Ultimate Saddle was designed and constructed with input from engineers at aerospace manufacturer Airbus to result in a forward thinking design that shaves weight and maximizes comfort. Unlike traditional saddles that require the rails to be constructed separately to later be joined with the saddle’s base Fabric uses additive layer manufacturing to create a true one-piece form. The rails themselves have been relocated farther back than normal resting on the shell’s edge and they’ve been purposefully shaped to double in function acting also as leaf springs to allow for optimum flex and vibration dampening.
