HOW TO FIND BIKES, GEAR, AND KIT

Over the past year, more and more cyclists have visited In The Know Cycling, signed up to get notified about new posts, and followed on social media.

Thank you! Seeing so many of you come to the site motivates me to carve out more of my time for this unique peloton we cycling enthusiasts are in together to create independent reviews, ratings, comments, and other features free of ads and industry influences.

There’s also been a lot of work my fellow testers and I have done to review new types of gear and kit and update others, improve the site speed and navigation, and add some new tools and features.

To help you get the most out of the site, I’m putting together a few short videos that show you some things you may not have realized the site can do for you.

Things like:

* Just when everything seems harder to get, how to find the bikes, gear, and kit you want at the best prices from the best stores.

* How to quickly find my review of a specific wheelset or another piece of gear you are already thinking about getting.

* How to use In The Know Cycling reviews to learn about and compare a category of gear or kit whose specific products, brands, and models you don’t know enough about to make a decision.

* Which articles your fellow enthusiasts have found most useful in learning how to be a better rider or smarter cycling consumer – how to ride faster, brake carbon wheels, ride in a paceline, choose the right depth wheelset, ride gravel, etc.

Here’s the first one.

Let me know what you think or ask any questions you might have in the comment section below or on the video page.

Thanks and be well.

  • Great video and I confess to not knowing or using your site this way. Good job done putting this out there. I will share it onto a couple of Facebook groups that I am part of.
